河内藤園/Kawachi Fuji Garden - Kawachi Garden

本日はカナダからのゲストさんを北九州の名所の１つである『河内藤園』へご案内してきました。今が藤の花のシーズンであるため多くの方が訪れる観光スポットですが、本日は雨だったせいかゆっくり観賞することができました。入園してすぐに藤の花の香りが広がり、アーチ型やドーム型の藤棚は圧巻。頭上から垂れ下がるように咲き誇り紫色の雨が降っているようで大変美しい光景でした。

Today we guided the visitor from Canada to Kawachi Fuji Gardens which is famous in Kitakyushu. Now lots of people visit here as the flower Wisteria is a great season. We couldn’t see a beautiful one due to the rain day unfortunately. As soon as entering into the park, I felt the great smell of Wisteria. Wisteria Tunnel was so beautiful.




古いもので樹齢120年ほどだそうです。

The old one is a 120 year-old tree.

カタコト英語でうまくコミュニケーションがとれているのか心配だったのですがこの藤の花を見ることができて良かったという彼女の笑顔を見てホッとしたと同時に、とても貴重なトキを共有させていただいたのだと実感して嬉しくなりました。

Though I was worried about my poor English, I felt relieved when she said “I am glad to see this beautiful wisteria.”. I could share a precious time with her. At Tanga Table as people enjoy their time, they enjoy the link between people. We hope the time of the guest being here will be memorable.
